Dose Rate Alarm Units |
for the use in explosion endangered atmospheres:
Dose Rate Alarm Unit GRAETZ GammaTest C |
The GammaTest C is a light, robust battery operated pocket-sized dose rate alarm unit for the personal radiation protection for the detection of gamma and X-rays. Four different alarm thresholds can be adjusted. When being exceeded, an optical (red LED) and acoustic alarm will be triggered.
The dose rate alarm threshold 25 µSv/h is required by the German Fire Brigades Regulation (FwDV 500) for the determination of a danger zone. The alarm threshold 40 µSv/h is required in the range of non destructive testing (NDT) during radiographic processing (for example by X-rays): the local dose rate outside the control area may not exceed 40 µSv/h.
The splash-proof, anodically treated aluminium housing of the GammaTest C ensures a shielding against EMC influence.

Dose Rate Alarm Lamp GRAETZ GWL 10m |
The GWL 10m is an accumulator operated dose rate alarm unit, independent of mains supply, for the detection of gamma radiation and X-rays. The instrument has four alarm thresholds, triggering optical and acoustic alarm when being exceeded. The acoustic alarm can be switched off, if required.
The instrument, designed for operations in "heavy-duty" environments, is EMC-proof and equipped with a robust and splash-proof housing. The GWL 10m is preferably used for room monitoring and for the determination of restricted areas, where a given dose rate has been achieved.
The GWL 10m is supplied together with a recharger unit for recharging the built-in accumulator.

Dose Rate Alarm Unit GRAETZ GammaSmart |
The GammaSmart is a pocket-sized, very robust, battery-operated dose rate alarm unit for the personal radiation protection. It is designed for the detection of gamma radiation and X-rays, indicating these with clear optical and significant acoustical pulse repetition rate. An increasing dose rate leads to an increasing pulse rate.
The splash-proof aluminium housing - equipped with an optical battery control - ensures a shielding aginst electromagnetic influence: the device is EMC-proof.

Dose Rate Alarm Unit
|
for personal radiation protection in explosion endangered atmospheres
The dose rate alarm unit "GammaSmart V.Ex" is a very robust and easy to handle pocket-sized alarm unit. It is accumulator operated and designed for personal radiation protection.
It detects gamma radiation and X-rays, indicating these with clear optical and acoustical single pulses. An increasing dose rate leads to an increasing pulse rate.
The splash-proof aluminium housing (IP 54) ensures a shielding against electromagnetic influence. An optical battery control indicates the GammaSmart's readiness for use.
Recharge of the built-in accumulator requires the recharger unit "GRAETZ 462L" (necessary accessories).
