Before delivery, the instrument's measuring accuracy will be confirmed by a certificate of adjustment and calibration. Radiological calibration and adjustment are effected with Cs-137 (662 keV). Currents and voltages are verified by regularly calibrated measuring instruments. According to DIN EN ISO 9001 : 2008 all used measuring instruments and standards are based on national and international standards.

For all functional tests and service works it is absolutely necessary to have a detailed knowledge of the device's operation manual and to abide by the following, recommended testing and service intervals:

When the instrument is not regularly operated, its function has to be controlled every 6 months to ensure readiness for use.

Every 3 years devices should be sent to the manufacturer GRAETZ for inspection and re-calibration to ensure correct operation.

Anyway, should defects occur during control measurements, which cannot be cleared by the user himself, the device has to be sent to the manufacturer GRAETZ for repair.
